Our founder, Mr. M.S.K. VASUDEVA RAO, moved to Madras in 1960 and worked for 5 years in various fields. Later, he partnered with Karthika Industries at Guindy Industrial Estate, Chennai for 15 years. He started his own manufacturing company ‘MAGANTI BROTHERS’ specializing in steel windows, rolling shutters and diversified to scaffolding, centering, and form works.
Spanning over 50 years, his industrial experience made him envision a demanding need for scaffolding, centering, and form works. For the past 20 years, he has been the forerunner of both the manufacturing unit ‘Maganti Brothers’, and the rental unit and sister concern ‘Lakshmi International’.
He is a Science Graduate from Sir C.R. Reddy College, Eluru, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Presently, he is also a member of the Governing Body of the College.
During his long tenure as Office Bearer of Adyar Gandhinagar Cricket Club, few players became eligible to play in the National & International games.
Member of the Governing Body of Advanced Training Institute, Guindy (Government of India).
Member of Bureau of Indian Standards connected with Steel Doors & Windows. One of his designed windows is circulated by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
He is the Chairman – Coordination Committee in Construction Industries Development Council (CIDC) on behalf of Builders’ Association of India – 2018-2019.
He is also a well noted and an active member of Builders’ Association of India (BAI for the last 30 years in various capacities.

He was the Tax & Public Relations Committee Chairman, Chengalpattu Center, BAI from 2007 to 2008.
He single-handedly pursued with the help of the then Minister for Commercial Tax, Tamil Nadu, Mr. tlbhayattullah and brought down the VAT from 12.5 to 4% on the rental of construction material, which is presently at 5%.
He is still in touch with the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. Personally, he has contributed & collected around 1.5 Lakhs, for ‘Clean Ganga Project’. He is nominated to be part of the linkage of rivers committee.
He is in communication with the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. He is being considered in the Ministry for submitting views on interlinking of rivers likely to be conducted in future. “Letter dated 06-06-2015 by Shashi Rakesh – Dy. Commissioner (BM)”.
